I want to improve my stock trading

I want to improve my stock trading. I have counted all my stock trades on my stock trading journal and I am about 50 percent of my picks are successful. It sound like I broke even but my stock pick losses have been way worst than my wins. I have been trading off and on for the past 3 years but for the last four month I have gotten serious about short term stock trading and I have been trying to perfect my short term stock trading strategy. I am hoping by making this journal it will help me improve my stock trading.
